Morning Drop Off Continues
This service is provide to help alleviate morning congestion in the parking lot during the peak drop-off time of 8:15-8:30. We encourage those of you whose children seem comfortable with this procedure to make use of this service. However, if your child is reluctant or finds this type of drop-off to be upsetting, we ask that you continue to park and escort your child into school.

Classroom Procedures for Students and Parents in Room C and D
Please bring your child's change of clothing and place in the cubbies located off the hallway. There will be a white basket labeled with your child's name. Our hooks for coats are in the utility room off the kitchen. Please do not bring backpacks to school the children do not need these. Lunches are stored on the shelves. The hooks hanging in the classroom are for lightweight items only.
Nap items are also stored in our area. Space is very limited for this reason the following guidelines are used.
A blanket sized to cover a child that will not infringe on other resting children.
Pillows and pillowcases will be made in the classroom during our few days of school. They will remain at school and we will launder them with the sheets on Friday's.
A small, stuffed animal may be used to cuddle during rest time.
Having your child at school on time is in your child's best interest. We present new work and have group activities the first thing in the morning. Many times we cannot repeat the activity for late students.
Check your child's "Take Home Folder" located near our entrance door each day.
Birthdays may be celebrated with a small special snack such as small cupcakes, cookies, or ice cream cups. Please inform your teacher ahead of time. Please plan for 24 children as we celebrate together.
Sharing Day is part of our Fabulous Fridays. Items such as books, collections of rocks, items and pictures about traveling, etc. are appropriate. Children may not bring toys or clothing items for share.
